This big cat will soon be making its new home in Moray.

Affectionately known as 'Spotty', the Sepecat Jaguar GR.3A XX119 is coming to live at RAF Lossiemouth.

"Many people have asked if it will lose its distinctive colour," said a spokesperson for the military base.

"All we can say is that a Jaguar never changes its spots."

'Spotty' is currently undertaking a 450-mile cross-country migration from RAF Cosford, near Birmingham.

An Anglo-French design, it served as a close air support and nuclear strike aircraft with the RAF from 1974 until its retirement in 2007.

At Lossiemouth it will be reunited with 6 Squadron who were the last to fly it.
