POLITICAL journalist Brian Taylor will air his ‘Big Debate’ from Lossiemouth this Friday.

A local panel will debate issues of the day with members of the public, with the programme live on BBC Radio Scotland from 12.15pm.

Members of the audience should arrive at the High Street building at 11.30am, with the doors closing at noon.

Anyone who has a question – which should be brief and to the point – should email it to brian@bbc.co.uk by September 15.

Although there is no guarantee all questions will be used, Mr Taylor is confident of a lively debate.

“The area has faced some economic anxiety of late but I know that it is a community which is resilient and determined to thrive.

“I feel certain that spirit will surface in what I am sure will be a lively edition of the programme,” Mr Taylor said.

The Lossiemouth panel will include: Moray Chamber of Commerce chief executive Lesley Ann Parker, Moray’s SNP MP Angus Robertson, Liberal Democrat MP for Gordon Malcolm Bruce, and the artistic director of Out of the Darkness Theatre company Tina McGeever.
