Body found in River Findhorn in search for missing woman Helen Campbell

THE body of a woman was found in the River Findhorn this morning, Police Scotland have confirmed.

Police said the body was recovered from the river at around 11.30am.

The family of Helen Campbell (60) who was reported missing from Forres yesterday, having last been seen on Thursday night, have been informed.

There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
