FREE activities will take place at Elgin Library during the schools' September in-service break.

As part of the Spirit of Moray Book Festival, three author sessions featuring Vivian French and Emily Dodd will take place on September 17.

Vivian French is set to entertain with her love of theatre, evil villains, the 19th century, poverty stricken families, steam trains, rivalry, fun and Shakespeare.

Audiences will hear how she mixes them all together in The Steam Whistle Theatre Company, with sessions at 11.15am and 1.30pm.

Emily Dodd will explore energy during a fun and fact-filled interactive event.

During her session at 1.15pm, Emily will explain how the energy all around us changes from one form to another, giving an understanding of the earth’s capabilities.

Places are limited so booking is essential. Book online or call Elgin Library on 01343 562623.
