BREAKING NEWS: Accident closes the A941 between Rothes and Fogwatt

The A941 between Rothes and Elgin closed is closed on the section between Rothes and Fogwatt due to a serious road traffic collision.

A spokesperson for Scottish Fire and Rescue said: “We were alerted at 8.39am on Monday, April,22 to reports of a road traffic collision involving one private vehicle on the A941 near Longmorn, Elgin.

“Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene.

“One casualty was rescued prior to our arrival and was in the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.

“Crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”

Drivers are asked to use an alternative route at present as of 9.50am until the site is cleared.
