UPDATE: Woman (32) found dead in New Elgin

A RESIDENTIAL street in New Elgin has been on taped off by police overnight.

A section of Bezack Street – located just a few hundred feet from New Elgin Primary School – was closed by officers late on Thursday night at a junction with Anderson Drive.

The street remains closed as of 10am. There has been a permanent police presence since the street was cordoned off.

Police have been contacted for comment but are yet to confirm the nature of the incident.
