Buckie Harbour fish landings round-up

FISH landings at Buckie Harbour rose over the course of last week, although those for clams fell.

A total of 12 vessels took 415 boxes of fish/prawn/squid ashore along with 123 bags of clams.

This compares to 274 boxes and 272 bags the previous week.

The boats bringing their catches to the quayside were: Endeavour; Deeside; Lily Oak VI; Our May; Orcadis; Boy Sam; Skua; Camann II; Brantia; Emerald Dawn; Camm Bounteous; Chloe Ella.

A single cargo vessel, the Dutch-registered MV Amadeus Aquamarijn, which imported 2209.18 tonnes of soya from Rotterdam on August 8 before sailing light to Aberdeen two days later.
