The Burghead in Bloom Kipper BBQ will take place on July 31.

The barbecue, which is set to take place from noon until 3pm on Sunday, July 31, at the Harbour Field, has been running for more than 20 years.

On an average year, around 10 and half stone of kipper is put on the barbecue.

Along with the fish, there will be burgers, hot dogs, ice cream and a tea stall.

There will be live music, raffles, a bottle stall and a lucky dip and lucky squares for children. There will also be face painting for the young ones.

Burghead in Bloom will be collecting money for their hanging baskets and tubs around town at the barbecue.
