Three delicious types of pizzas created by youngsters from Burghead Primary are now yours to sample at the village's Bothy Bistro.

The restaurant invited pupils from P4, P5 and P6 to take part in a 'Design a Pizza' competition.

After considering all the amazing entries, three finalists were asked to come along to the Bothy Bistro last week to help the chefs make them.

A tricky decision for the judges saw Corra Fraser awarded first prize for her ‘Chicken Supreme’ pizza.

This will now be featured on the Bothy's menu.

Meanwhile, those created by Annie Porter and Harriet Billany were also deemed so good that they'll be appearing on the restaurant's specials board.

Ruth Scott from The Bothy Bistro said: "It’s been such a fantastic experience for all of us.

"Working with the children from Burghead Primary and seeing their ideas come to fruition has been really exciting.

"All three of the finalists' pizzas were outstanding.

"We're thrilled to be able to serve them at The Bothy."
