A MORAY business has offered all Buckie Thistle players and staff a free meal if they manage to pull off the improbable and beat Celtic on Sunday.

Qismat Indian restaurant – one of the Jags' sponsors – will also give the players and staff a free banquet if they win the Highland League title.

Atif Ali, Qismat director, said: "It is a fantastic achievement for Buckie to be playing Celtic so hopefully they win.

"We are proud that they are playing Celtic and are supporting them in their bid to win the Highland League. Hopefully we will be hosting them after them for a meal."

Buckie have been priced at 200/1 to win on Sunday – but general manager Stephen Shand was delighted to accept the offer from Qismat.

He said: "It is a very generous offer – if we manage to beat Celtic, which would be incredible, or if we win the Highland League this season they are willing to put on a meal for all the Buckie players and staff as a celebration.

"It's a fantastic offer from Qismat, who are one of our new board sponsors. They are looking to get involved with more stuff – the support for the club is much appreciated."
