Zoe (24), from New Deer, was over the moon after enjoying great success with her much loved 19-year-old Belgian warmblood Electra VD Breemersen, or Carmen for short.

A broad smile was fixed to Zoe's face after she took no fewer than six rosettes on the day.

The pairing were first in sports horse, champion sports horse in hand, first in hand veteran, second in ridden veteran, reserve champion veteran ridden and also took a first in showjumping.

This was the first time Zoe has won a first – and she got three of them in the one afternoon.

"I have had her for five years. I am quite shocked to get so many wins.

"It is great to be back out showing again."

Showjumper Kirsty Foster (17) was enjoying her last full day of her summer holiday in Scotland and she finished it with a first over the fences with her aunt Jane Howard's horse Cruising Lady Charlotte, or Dotty around her Mosstowie stables.

Kirsty, from Derbyshire, spends most summers in Moray, riding out at her aunt's yard.

"I have been riding since I was eight. I am so happy she got a first. She was very calm today," said Kirsty of the seven-year-old Irish sport horse.
