Cash on offer around Speyside

GRANTS of up to £750 are now on offer for various good causes within Speyside High School catchment area.

Any groups who have both a bank account and an idea which might improve life for people living in or around Aberlour, Rothes, Dufftown and Tomintoul are eligible to apply.

Application forms are obtainable from sheilabrumby50@btinternet.com and must he returned to the same address before the April 18 deadline.

There will then be a participatory budget session at Grant Hall, Rothes, from 1pm on Saturday, April 27. Each entrant will have two minutes to outline to the others why they deserve the money.

The grants are part of a £3300 fund from Holyrood which is being administered by the Church of Scotland.
