CCTV footage released of man Police are keen to speak to about serious assault in Elgin earlier this year

POLICE Scotland has released images of a man they believe may hold information which might assist in relation to a serious assault at Ladyhill Carpark, Elgin.

The incident happened around 1.25am on Saturday, February, 26 this year.

The man is described as white, aged 35 to 50-years-old, around 5ft 8ins and of stocky build. He was wearing a black Puffa style jacket, a dark t-shirt with a red coloured logo on the front, dark coloured jeans and dark footwear.Police Constable Martin Burkinshaw, of Elgin Police Office, said: “I would urge anyone who has information relating to the man depicted in these images, or the man himself, to make contact with the police.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0319 of Saturday, 26 February, 2022. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed on anonymously.”
