The Aberlour Community Day will showcase the wealth of opportunities available in the village and surrounding areas.

The new event promises to be a celebration of local talent, creativity, and community spirit and will showcase over 25 local organisations including sport and fitness, health services, religious groups and social clubs.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with representatives from local groups, learn about what they do, and discover ways to get involved.

There will be something for everyone at the event, with the chance to learn more about theatre and the arts, gardening, environmental conservation, or community development.

Margie McKerron, from the Aberlour Community Association said: "We're thrilled to bring together some of the incredible organisations that contribute to the fabric of Aberlour. Like so many communities, we were rocked by the pandemic. It has been a slow recovery, so it’s encouraging to see so many people looking for opportunities to reconnect with each other and what’s happening in the village and beyond.”

In addition to interactive displays and informative booths, the Aberlour Community Day will be an opportunity for residents to connect with neighbours over a cup of tea or coffee, ask questions about local health services, and sign up for any clubs or classes that catch their interest.

Margie added: "We invite everyone in Aberlour and the surrounding areas to join us. Whether you just want to have a look around over a cup of coffee or you are looking to get more involved, you are very welcome.”

Admission to the event is free.
