Elgin city chairman Graham Tatters steps down for family reasons and Isla Benzie takes on role of interim chairwoman

ELGIN City have confirmed that chairman Graham Tatters has stepped down for now due to family reasons.

Graham Tatters has stepped down and Isla Benzie has stepped up to role of interim chairwoman.

The board has asked director Isla Benzie to step up into the role of interim chairwomen and she has agreed to take on this role with immediate effect.

Isla Benzie tweeted: "First of all my thoughts are with Graham and his family at this time.

"I’m honoured to be asked to move into the role of chairwoman.

"Big shoes to fill, but looking forward to the challenge."

No timescale has been put on when Graham Tatters will return to the club he has led for many years.
