Through their context for learning, Rights and Responsibilities, the pupils have been learning about the difference between needs and wants, how to be a good ambassador for their school and how to support their local community.

That saw them support the Mission for Christmas appeal through a local radio station.

Lauren MacInnes from MFR Cash for Kids, came to speak to the children in October to explain a little bit about what goes on behind the scenes. The P3s then used this information to present an assembly about Mission Christmas to the rest of the school and their parents.

They got an amazing response and the pupils were overwhelmed by the amount of gifts that were donated.

The gifts were dropped off at the Moray Sports Centre by their teachers where they had to get extra bags to hold all the donations.

The children would like to thank everyone who supported their efforts.
