The 54-year-old has not been seen or in contact with anyone since around 11.30am on Saturday, February 26 in the Seatown area of Cullen and concern is growing for his welfare.

With no sign of Mr Murray despite police appeals, a community search has been organised for 10am tomorrow, with volunteers asked to meet at the town square.

Sergeant Kate Costin of Elgin Police Station said: “It is out of character for Alan not to be in contact with his family and we are growing increasingly concerned for him.

“I would urge anyone who believes they may have seen him at any time since Saturday night or who has any other information to come forward.

“We would also urge people who live around the Grant Street area in Cullen to review any private CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage you may have. I would also ask anyone who has a shed or outbuilding where someone could seek shelter to check this."

Alan is described as around 5ft 10ins tall, stocky build with fair hair. He was last seen wearing a pink polo shirt with an orange snood and jeans.

Anyone with information can contact Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident number 2576 of February 27, 2022.
