The event, which will take place at Moray College on February 5, is for anyone who works where alcohol is sold across the Moray area.

Legislation requires that those involved in the sale of alcohol – on or off-sales – have a social responsibility to all their customers.

In response to requests for help in understanding what that actually means, Moray Council's licensing team has organised the event.

More details will follow, but anyone interested should email the team at licensingconsult@moray.gov.uk to register.
