THE rollout of the Covid-19 vaccine is continuing in Moray.

The vaccine is being administered.
The vaccine is being administered.

The Maryhill practices in Elgin and Rothes ran a mass vacination clinic on Saturday.

They vaccinated just under 700 patients aged over 80.

A team effort from staff at the practices, the vaccine team, volunteers and members of Elgin Rotary Club ensured the smooth running of the clinic.

Care home residents and over-80s are the highest priority groups to receive the vaccine so far.

It is hoped that all over 70s will be vaccinated by the middle of February.

A glimmer of hope
