Cyclist in hospital after collision in Cullen Square with vehicle

A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital in Aberdeen following a collision between his bicycle and a car in Cullen.

The crash happened at lunchtime today (July 28).

Police were called to the scene in the square around 1.10pm.

A police spokesperson said: "Emergency services attended and the male cyclist was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."

The road was closed for a period with a small diversion through the square.
