Moray Council confirm damaged bridge outside Elgin will close for 26 weeks

MORAY Council have confirmed that a damaged bridge has been closed for "public safety" reasons outside Elgin.

Viewmill Bridge on the C26E Mosstowie road was closed on Friday, April 21, and will remain so until October 19 later this year.

Diversions have been put in place for the remainder of the closure. That will take drivers from the C26E, to the A96, to Wittet Drive, to B9010 Pluscarden Road and then back to the C26E.

Site notices have been put in place.
