A day-long festival of contemporary dance is being staged in Findhorn by Dance North Scotland.
Live performances and a film show will be taking place in and around the ecovillage on Saturday, June 11.
Threaded Fine is an intergenerational piece by choreographer Rosemary Lee which will feature dancers aged from nine into their 70s.
Beginning at noon, all 24 dancers will perform the same short solo, one after the other from youngest to oldest, each bringing their own unique qualities to the piece.
They will be accompanied by a continually looping song composed by Isaac Lee-Kronick and performed live by Jamie McCarthy.
Dancing on the Inside, a film honouring the legacy of Simon Fildes, will be screened in the Universal Hall from 6.30pm-7.30pm
Simon, who died last year, was an international award-winning Scottish filmmaker, producer and curator, who had close links to Dance North.
Between 8pm and 9pm the Mexican dance company Foco alAire will invite passers-by to join their unique procession.
Full-day tickets are available at dancenorth.scot/watch/ on a ‘pay what you can basis’ to ensure there are no barriers to attendance.
The film has a fixed capacity. Therefore, if that's reached in pre-sales, its screening will not be included in tickets sold later.
