Delays have been announced for passengers travelling between Inverness and Aberdeen.

Train passengers travelling between Inverness and Aberdeen might face delays after ScotRail reported an object blocking the line between Elgin and Forres earlier this afternoon.

The line was reopened at around 4pm, however trains will operate under a caution of 20mph, which will affect journey times.

Disruption is expected to last until around 6pm.

More updates are available on scotrail.co.uk or on the ScotRail app.
