Planning permission is being sought to build a Subway sandwich shop including a drive through in Elgin.

SLD Group Property Ltd is set to apply for permission to build at Riverside Road, which is on the current eastern edge of town, near to both Costa Coffee and KFC.

According to Companies House, the company is based in Inverness.

A document submitted to Moray Council states that the firm is acting in conjunction with CFM Consultants Ltd, who are based near Blackpool.

Details of the proposed building will be made public in advance of the application going before Moray Council's planning committee.
