The Lossiemouth Community Development Trust is spearheading the drive to repair or replace the bridge which has fallen into a state of disrepair.

The trust has now presented three options to the townsfolk.

Flyers for the forthcoming Seafest 2019, distributed to houses in the town, included a four page leaflet outlining the bridge options.

Option A is to replace the top structure of the bridge at a cost of around £550,000.

A new bridge from the esplanade comes in at £500,000 and is Option B.

The third and most expensive option is a new bridge in the current location, which will be in the region of £650-700,000.

People can vote for their preferred option and also donate to the trust's crowdfunding appeal.

They can drop off their completed forms at the trust's office on James Street or at any time during Seafest which runs from June 29-July 7.
