Elgin Academy pupils behind The Team Times

ELGIN Academy's budding journalists have produced the first edition of a revamped school newspaper.

The Team Times is packed with eight pages of all the latest news, sport, history and entertainment at the secondary school.

The cover story is an interview with head teacher Kyle Scott by Michael Thompson.

Elgin Academy through the war looks at the role of pupils and staff during World War Two and has been compiled by Ena Saracevic.

How social media is impacting on the grammar of young people is a fascinating look into how young people view social media by Alana Baird and Gabriella Donaghy.

Elgin Academy saw the return of its talent show on October 5 and there is a report and picture of the winners. Nicole Fraser and Ena Saracevic are the reporting team behind that feature.

Other contributors to the paper are Rosa McKay, Emily Anderson and Rose Quilliam and Ella Howie.
