Elgin break-in sparks Police appeal

A THEFT from a house on the Findrassie estate has led the Police to ask the public for information.

Police are calling on the public to share any information about a break which hit a home on the Findrassie estate.

Police urged people to come forward if they saw anything suspicious near the home, off Lossiemouth Road, Elgin, overnight between Friday, April 28, and Saturday, April 29.

Several decorative items were stolen from the property.

Constable Abbey Emmett said: “We’re appealing to anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed any suspicious activity overnight or has any information to please come forward."

"If you believe you can assist our enquiries, please call police on 101, quoting incident 1360 of 29 April 2023."

Police also highlighted home security advice on their website in the face of the theft.
