A LOT of steps for little legs but brothers Thorfinn (4) and Lachlan Wade (2) are on a marathon journey for charity.

The intrepid pair are walking 26.2 miles in nine days and aim to complete the challenge on Sunday.

It has been dubbed the Mini Wades Mini Marathon.

They had aimed to raise £200 for the Moray Baby Bank but by Wednesday that target had been smashed and they had almost £700 on their Gofundme page.

Parens Nikki and Paul are accompanying the boys on their travels.

Nikki said: "We were due to take part in another fundraiser however due to Covid-19 it was cancelled. We have done a bit of fundraising in the past and decided to try to do something to support our local community and to teach our boys about ways that we can help others.

"We saw a post on Facebook that the baby bank was running low on supplies."

They started last Saturday and aim to cross the finishing line on Sunday.

Catch me if you can. The brothers are on the march.

Added Nikki: "We are so delighted and absolutely blown away by the sponsors/donations and generosity from family, friends, neighbours and others too who have seen the gofundme page. We hope that it will help purchase some vital supplies for the Moray Baby Bank."
