Elgin shop Sirology nominated for national award

THE owner of an independent retailer in Elgin has thanked his customers for their support after being nominated for a national award.
Sirology, which sells a variety of men's grooming, haircare and skincare products, plus lifestyle accessories, has been nominated in the craft and gift shop category of the Scottish Independent Retail Awards.
The awards celebrate the achievements of independent shops across Scotland who have demonstrated "exceptional dedication, creativity and outstanding customer service".
Richard Cumming, owner of Sirology, said: "I am really pleased to be a finalist, but being acknowledged as one of the best gift shops in Scotland is a big thing.
"I am really proud to be an independent business and it is great we are recognised for offering something different to our communities.
"I will be looking forward to a cheeky wee night out in Glasgow for the awards.
"I am really grateful for my customers who support my wee shop for blokes.
"Business can be tough a lot of the time but seeing customers time and time again is such an amazing reward in itself and being part of the community who care about where we live and work."
Richard will find out if his shop has been crowned winner at a black tie ceremony at the Doubletree by Hilton in Glasgow on April 10.
