Elgin show to pay homage to good ol' country greats

COUNTRY fans can enjoy a musical trip to Nashville when a show pays tribute to the genre's all-time greats in Elgin this month.

Award-winning show Legends of American Country will return to Elgin's Town Hall during its 2020 tour on Sunday, January 19, for a toe-tapping night featuring songs by Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Kenny Rogers, Hank Williams and Jim Reeves, among many other country icons.

The show features four singers accompanied by a live band. Organisers aim for an "authentic country sound and stage set".

The show has now been seen live by more than 300,000 fans, has been watched by millions on social media and has received more than 2,000 five-star reviews.
