The road will closed off all day between the junction with Abbey Street and the top of Moss Street.

A Moray council Spokesperson said: "Owing to tree clearing it will be necessary in the interests of public safety to close the section of Greyfriars Street for a period of one day only on Wednesday, December 1.

"Site Notices will be erected in due course indicating the temporary restriction to traffic and the alternative route applicable: Abbey Street to Institution Road to Moss Street."
