A section of Greyfriars Street in Elgin is scheduled to shut to traffic tomorrow to help clear trees felled by Storm Arwen.
The road will closed off all day between the junction with Abbey Street and the top of Moss Street.
A Moray council Spokesperson said: "Owing to tree clearing it will be necessary in the interests of public safety to close the section of Greyfriars Street for a period of one day only on Wednesday, December 1.
"Site Notices will be erected in due course indicating the temporary restriction to traffic and the alternative route applicable: Abbey Street to Institution Road to Moss Street."
