ELGIN Town Hall will host a comedy night with highly-acclaimed comedian Mark Nelson in March.

The All the Best show will take place on Friday, March 1, with Elgin to be one of many stops on the funny-man's first-ever UK tour.

The show’s doors will open at 7pm with the main event beginning at 8pm.

The Scotsman has been featured on many highly-rated TV shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats, Mock The Week and Have I Got News For You.

Mr Nelson has received many awards during his career as a comedian, including the Scottish Comedian of the Year Award in 2006, UK Comedian’s Comedian Of The Year 2021 and a five-time Scottish Comedy award winner for Best Headliner.

He has also hosted the hit BBC radio show The Good, The Bad And The Unexpected for 13 seasons and was the creator of the viral hit series called The News at 3 which featured his three-year-old Daughter.

His extensive catalogue continues as the comedian is currently hosting multiple BBC Scotland shows such as Edinburgh’s Unlocked and Bad Influencer.

The stand-up has also performed in countries such as Australia, the USA and China.

Voice Magazine described the event as “a golden, singularly comprehensive, majestic hour of comedy” and The Scotsman said he was “the kind of comic I could listen to all night”.
