FOLLOWING the Covid pandemic and now the cost-of-living crisis, it is a tough time to be in business.
So, that's why it is even more important than ever to shine a light on those who continue to rise to the challenge of running a business and providing first class customer service.
The Embrace Elgin Business Improvement District (BID) will host its annual awards at the end of October, supported by The Northern Scot.
The winners across 10 categories will be announced at the Elgin BID annual meeting on Friday, October 21 in Elgin Town Hall.
The nomination period opens today and you have until Friday, September 23 to enter your favourite local business or service provider in the awards.
You can nominate one city centre business in each of the categories.
Forms are available at the Elgin BID website and Facebook page and in person from local businesses, the BID office and The Northern Scot.
Nomination forms can be dropped off at the special post boxes in the St Giles Centre and Elgin Bid, Harrow Inn Close.
One of the top awards is always the Elgin Community Champion – someone who, in your opinion, always goes above and beyond for Elgin.
