One taken to hospital as multiple police vehicles and fire appliances attend scene of one-vehicle crash at Enterprise Park roundabout on A96

ONE person was taken to hospital after multiple emergency services attended a one-vehicle crash near Forres yesterday.

The incident – which involved a car with three passengers – was attended by four police vehicles, two fire appliances and ambulances.

The crash took place at the Enterprise Park roundabout on the A96 leaving Forres on the way towards Elgin.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service freed casualties from the vehicle before one was transferred to hospital.

A spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 11.20am on Monday, December 4, to reports of a one-vehicle road traffic collision on the Enterprise Roundabout near Forres, A96.

“Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene where upon arrival crews found three casualties trapped within the vehicle.

“Firefighters worked to free the casualties and they were transferred into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.

“Crews left the scene at 1pm after ensuring the area was made safe”.

A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “Around 11.15am on Monday, December 4, 2023, police were called to a report of a one-vehicle crash on the A96 near Forres.

"One person was taken to hospital for assessment and recovery was arranged.”
