Police enquiries ongoing after eight cars vandalised in New Elgin

POLICE enquiries are ongoing after a number of cars were vandalised in Elgin.

A total of eight cars were hit by vandals between January 3 and January 8 in the New Elgin area of town.

There is no indication yet on whether the incidents are linked.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Between Tuesday, January 3, and Sunday, January 8, we were called to reports of vandalisms to eight vehicles in New Elgin.

"Officers attended and enquiries are ongoing."
