EU settlement scheme advice offered up in Elgin

ADVICE for EU citizens living in Moray will be offered during an information session on the European Union Settlement Scheme.

It takes place at Elgin Library on February 15 and is being hosted by Moray Council and the European Citizens Rights Project.

Staff will be on hand to explain what the EU settlement scheme is and how EU citizens and their family members, living in Moray, can apply to the scheme to continue living in the UK after June 30, 2021.

Advice will be also be available for attendees who need help with the identity verification and application process. Technical support with applications can also be provided by the Assisted Digital service.

An EU Settlement Scheme adviser from Moray Citizens Advice Bureau and Assisted Digital officers from Elgin Library will be available for the entire duration of the event, which runs from 11m-3.30pm.

Sessions can be booked in advance through Eventbrite or, alternatively, just turn up on the day.
