Police Scotland say they have been completely "humbled" by the response of special constables since the beginning of the coroavirus crisis.
Scores upon scores of men and women have given up their time to help out.
Among them is Kevin Willox, who's pictured on duty at Findhorn.
A volunteer with the North East Division for the past seven years, he's also an engineer in the oil Industry. He said: "My employer fully supports my work as a special constable and is currently looking at joining others as an Employer Supported Policing partner.
"In the past two-and-a-half weeks I have managed to volunteer in the region of 80 hours of my own time.
"The other weekend I was out assisting Moray Road Policing Department teams to ensure that the public understand and respect the requests and messages sent out by the government.
"I would like to thank the public for helping us by following the guidelines.
"Many communities, such as Findhorn, have really taken them on board.
"Please stay safe, stay home and stay healthy."
A spokesperson for the force said: "A huge thank-you for all SPCs in the North East for your commitment to your role and for supporting communities at this challenging time.
"We have been humbled by how you have pledged thousands of hours to support Police Scotland’s response to the coronavirus pandemic."
