Fire brigade called to late-night car blaze on Elgin's Oldmills Road

THE burned-out shell of a car remains at the scene after a fire took place in Elgin on Saturday night.

The fire brigade were called to the scene of a car fire on Oldmills Road in the late hours of Saturday, October 28.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 10.20pm on Saturday, October 38, to reports of a car on fire on Oldmills Road, Elgin.

“Operations Control mobilised one fire appliance to the scene where firefighters extinguished the fire.

"There were no reported casualties and crews left at 11.06pm after ensuring the area had been made safe."
