North Guildry Street in Elgin is still cordoned off by police after a three-storey property caught fire in the early hours of this morning.

Emergency services were called shortly after 2am as the blaze took hold in a detached building near the town centre.

Fire firefighters used breathing apparatus as the flames came through the property's roof.

Six fire engines and a height vehicle were at the blaze which was declared to have been extinguished at 5.40am.
