Buckie Harbour fish landings round-up

THERE was a slight rise in the number of boxes of fish landed at Buckie Harbour last week.

Nine vessels brought ashore 628 boxes of fish/prawns/squid and no bags of clams. The conresponding figures the previous were 588 boxes and no bags.

The boats landing were: Chloe Ella; Lily Oak VI; Deeside; Boy Sam; Pegasus; Flourish; Pleiade; Our May; Laurel.

One cargo vessel called at Buckie last week, the Liberian-registered MV RMS Neudorf. She imported 2200 tonnes of salt from Kilroot on September 30 before sailing light to the North Sea for orders on October 4.
