Man from Fochabers area named following fatal Highland crash near Nairn

Police have named the man who died following a crash yesterday.

Callum Ewen (23), from the Fochabers area, died on the B9101 at Bognafuaran, near Nairn.

Sergeant Chris Donaldson said: “Our thoughts remain with Callum’s family at a very difficult time.

“Enquiries are still ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened and I would again appeal to anyone who may have information about it to please get in touch with us, quoting incident number 0492 of November 25, 2022.”

Officers said his family have asked for their privacy to be respected at this time.
