The cash was raised by kind donations from locals who went to see the display, which lit up their garden of 48 Twinning Link for days.

Such was the success of the display, the Stewart family is doing similar for Christmas – again to raise money for Cash for Kids.

The lights will be switched on on Saturday, November 25, after 4pm. All are welcome to head along and see the display, which will be in place until at least Christmas Day, if not longer.

Pauline said: "I love doing this for everyone. It's very important to me to help our the kids and their families."
