TEMPORARY traffic lights are set to be installed on a section of road in Forres while gas works are ongoing.
The lights will be placed on St Leonard's Road for approximately eight weeks, with works due to start on Monday, January 31.
A sign at the end of the road, visible when arriving in Forres on the B9010 from Rafford, confirmed works are to replace a gas main.
An SGN spokesperson added that lights will be in place while work is ongoing.
"This project to upgrade our gas network will take approximately eight weeks to complete," the spokesperson confirmed.
"To ensure everyone’s safety while we work and to ensure continued traffic flow, we will have temporary traffic lights in place for the duration of this project."
