FIFTEEN free leadership course places are being offered to Moray businesses.
Moray College UHI has received cash from the Scottish Funding Council to offer free places on a new six-month programme in responsible leadership and management for contemporary business.
The programme consists of three modules being taught over two months, starting on January 13. These are: responsible leadership and management for organisational performance; ethical solutions for global business; and sustainable project management.
The programme is designed to help businesses prepare for a sustainable future in an era focused on social and environmental responsibility.
Candidates will attend college one day per month to explore the theoretical aspects of the course, and outside of that use their own workplaces as the learning environment and for case studies. Online tutorials will be delivered via video conferencing and the college's virtual learning environment.
On completion candidates will achieve 60 degree credits at level 8 (HND level) which can go towards the achievement of a full-time degree. The programme, however, is primarily designed to improve professional practice in business.
Applicants should be working within a leadership or managerial role and ideally already have level 6-7 qualifications – at least two Highers or HNC.
