CHILDREN'S entertainers Funbox will return to Elgin in the new year for a slapstick slumber party.
The Funbox trio, formerly performers and writers of The Singing Kettle, will present an afternoon of fun and frivolity at Elgin Town Hall on Saturday, January 15.
Kevin Macleod, Anya Scott-Rodgers and Bonzo the Dog promise jokes and joy for all the family, with traditional singalong songs and brand new compositions with a Scottish flavour, and their own brand of modern manic humour and organised chaos.
Kevin said: "It's been wonderful to grow Funbox over the last six years and to see our shows become a highlight in many families' calendars. We always have a great time in Elgin and can't wait to return there in January.
"This tour marks our proper return to the stage. We haven't been able to tour or perform in theatres since March 1, 2020. We can't wait to get back out on the road and see all our fans and familiar faces again."
Anya added: "We love visiting venues and entertaining families across Scotland. We're so looking forward to returning to Elgin Town Hall after such a long time."
Iconic children's entertainment show The Singing Kettle ceased to be in 2015. Kevin, Anya and their music creator and former member, Gary Coupland, went on to create Funbox as a new experience for kids.
Tickets, priced at £15.50, are available at www.elgintownhall.co.uk/events/funbox-pyjama-party/.
