The RAF Benevolent Fund is actively searching for members of the "RAF family" to help during the coronavirus crisis.
Since the lockdown was announced on March 23, the fund has awarded more than £1.5 million in individual grants to veteran and serving personnel, or their spouses.
Now a new online application system has been launched to allow folk to access financial assistance more easily.
In addition, the fund has also expanded its telephone friendship groups service to allow more veterans to join in a weekly chat.
Last year the fund launched an awareness campaign – Join The Search. Change A Life – which aimed to get more veterans and their partners back onto its radar.
It states this initiative is more important now than ever before.
Air Vice-Marshal Chris Elliot, the fund's chief executive, said: "We want people to consider their neighbours, their family, and their friends.
"If they previously served in the RAF, or are the spouse of someone that once served, then they are eligible for our support – be it financial, practical, or emotional."
