Children everywhere will be able to hear bedtime stories read by Dolly Parton very soon.

Country music's First Lady is posting a video upon the 'Dolly Parton Imagination Library' site on Facebook this evening at 7pm (Nashville time).

Dolly, who has already donated $1million to coronavirus, says she intends to go on posting a different story each week until June 4.

Tonight's first instalment will be 'The Little Engine That Could', a story she cites as a "source of inspiration".

The 74-year-old won a whole new generation of fans when she appeared at the Glastonbury Music Festival back in 2014.
