ACADEMIC caps were flung high into the air as the Class of 2019 graduated from a Moray nursery.

Nursery manager Patricia Eddie said it was an emotional day as the youngsters donned their best clothes for the big send off.

Mrs Eddie said: "The children were asked what they wanted to be when they grow up and we have many budding firefighters, a Big Foot, a helicopter pilot, a gymnast and a daddy.

"All the staff wish them well in their transition into Primary 1. It has been a pleasure to support them during their pre-school years."

The nursery is based in the grounds of the Elgin Moray Street campus of Moray College UHI and provides both education and care for children aged from just babies right up to 5-year-olds.
