November 30 in Moray: Happy St Andrew's Day everyone

Saint Andrew was one of Jesus' 12 disciples.

As well as Scotland, he is also the patron saint of Cyprus, Greece, Romania, Russia and the Ukraine.

According to the Gospel of John, Andrew was first a disciple of John the Baptist.

Andrew at once recognized Jesus as the Messiah, and introduced him to his brother Saint Peter.
