They are among 40 colourful hare sculptures in locations across the north of Scotland.

The Wicker Hare is in the Cooper Park in Elgin, while Hare Today, Gone Tomorrow is at the Walled Garden at Gordon Castle, Fochabers.

The six foot high sculptures will be on display until the end of September and will be joined at several other locations by smaller versions which have been decorated by local schools for the Wee Hop.

Coinciding with the charity’s 40th anniversary, each hare represents a year of Clan’s commitment to supporting people affected by cancer.

Clan has also launched a dedicated app featuring fun facts and rewards to unlock for those wishing to visit as many of the sites as possible.

In September all 40 of the hare sculptures, which have been created by local artists, will go up for sale at auction with all funds to benefit the charity

The Big Hop Trail is the second event Clan has partnered with Wild in Art following its successful lighthouse trail in 2021 which raised £324,000.
